Who HENO is best for
HENO was created by Katie Hohman, a physical therapist since 2006 who owns two private practice clinics in Central Florida, and Jeff Hohman, a software engineer. HENO now covers scheduling, documentation, billing, patient communication and marketing in one web-based platform, and says it is used by thousands of PTs across all 50 states.
Best for
- Independent outpatient physical therapy clinics, including owners who still treat
- Clinics that also have OTs and SLPs on staff
- Hybrid insurance and cash-based practices that sell packages and products
Not ideal for
- Hospital-based or large multi-state rehab organizations
- Practices outside therapy and chiropractic
- Buyers who want month-to-month terms (published plans require a one-year contract)

HENO pricing
HENO publishes three plans as of October 2026, each with a one-year contract:
- Growth: $149 per provider per month for documentation, billing software and clearinghouse. Add-ons include the kiosk ($75 per therapist), HEP ($20 per therapist), marketing and the patient portal and store ($75 per location each), texts ($0.20 each), a fax line ($10 per line with 100 pages per therapist, then $0.20 a page), insurance verification ($0.20 each) and workers' comp e-claims ($0.75 each). Data import is $1,500.
- Established: $225 per provider per month. Adds HEP, digital fax (400 pages per therapist), patient portal and store, marketing, and two-way texting and reminder bundles. The kiosk ($50 per therapist) and RTM ($25 per therapist plus $10 per active patient) are add-ons; insurance verification is $0.10 each and data import is $995.
- Unlimited: $299 per provider per month. Adds RTM, the kiosk, an account manager, unlimited texts, fax, eligibility checks and workers' comp e-claims, and free data import.
RCM managed billing is listed at 4% to 8% (the pricing page does not state the base, typically collections) on a two-year contract and can be combined with any plan.

HIPAA, security and integrations
HENO says its servers are hosted in a HIPAA-compliant data center, communications use SSL, and its Oracle database uses Transparent Data Encryption so data is encrypted at rest. It does not publish SOC 2 or HITRUST certifications, so ask for its business associate agreement and security documentation. Claims go through Office Ally, telehealth through Doxy.me and card payments through CardConnect.
