Who ComplyDay is best for

ComplyDay is OSHA and HIPAA compliance software for dental offices. It covers the yearly work an inspector asks about: written plans such as the exposure control plan and hazard communication program, HIPAA policies and the security risk assessment, staff training records, and sterilizer logs. Office managers answer a questionnaire about the office, and ComplyDay drafts each plan for the office's state, notes the rule behind each section and flags when a plan is due for its yearly review.

Best for

  • Dental offices with up to 15 staff that track OSHA and HIPAA work on paper or spreadsheets
  • Office managers who need each employee's bloodborne pathogens training date tracked and certificates saved
  • Practices that want sterilizer cycle, spore test and Bowie-Dick test logs with alerts on a failed test

Not ideal for

  • Medical, behavioral health or other non-dental practices
  • Dental groups with more than 15 staff or several locations, which need group pricing by email
  • Staff who need continuing education credit from their compliance courses

ComplyDay pros and cons

Pros

  • One app for written plans, training, sterilizer logs, reminders and an inspection binder
  • Four yearly courses (bloodborne pathogens, hazard communication, HIPAA privacy and security, infection control) with quizzes and certificates
  • Staff can message a trainer during each course, which OSHA requires for online bloodborne pathogens training
  • One flat price per office rather than per user
  • Holds no patient information, so there is no protected health information at risk in the app

Cons

  • Dental only; the plans and courses are written for dental offices
  • Courses do not award CE credits as of November 2026
  • Records are kept only while you subscribe, so export them before cancelling (OSHA asks for 3 years of training records and HIPAA for 6)
  • No published integrations, customer reviews or company details yet; the terms and privacy policy are dated November 2026

ComplyDay pricing

As of November 2026, ComplyDay charges one price per office for one location. The Solo plan covers up to 5 staff for $790 a year (about $66 a month) or $79 a month paid monthly, with logs for two sterilizers. The Practice plan covers up to 15 staff for $1,490 a year (about $125 a month) or $149 a month paid monthly, with logs for every sterilizer and help setting up the first plans. Both plans include all four courses, state-specific written plans, reminders and the inspection binder. Plans renew automatically, run to the end of the paid period when cancelled and do not refund partial periods. Offices with more than 15 staff or a second location email for group pricing.

Key features

  • Written plans: exposure control plan, hazard communication program, HIPAA privacy policies, security risk assessment, infection control manual, emergency action plan, business associate list, sharps injury log and breach response plan
  • Staff training: short phone-based lessons and a quiz for each of four yearly courses, with a certificate saved when someone passes and a trainer to message during the course
  • Sterilizer logs: autoclave cycles, spore tests and Bowie-Dick tests logged in a tap, with an alert to the office manager when a test fails
  • Reminders: emails a month before training and plan reviews fall due, new-hire training assigned on day one, and an optional text to the owner for a failed test
  • Inspection binder: a printable PDF of plans and staff training status
  • Employee health records: hepatitis B vaccination or declination status and sharps injury entries, visible only to owners, admins and the employee concerned
  • Free resources: guides on dental OSHA training, an OSHA checklist and HIPAA for dental offices, plus free templates such as an autoclave log sheet and exposure control plan

HIPAA, security and integrations

ComplyDay states that it does not collect or store patient information and asks offices never to enter any. It holds staff accounts, training records, written plans and equipment logs. Because no protected health information goes into the app, a business associate agreement is not part of the offer. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and ComplyDay says it does not sell personal information or use advertising trackers. Offices own their records and can export them at any time.

ComplyDay is not legal advice and does not guarantee an inspection result. OSHA and HHS do not certify training providers, so a ComplyDay certificate records completed training rather than a government certification. ComplyDay publishes no integrations with dental practice management software.

ComplyDay alternatives

  • Compliancy Group — a broader HIPAA and OSHA compliance program with coaching, for medical and dental practices and larger organizations, priced by quote.
  • Accountable — HIPAA compliance software for healthcare businesses that need policies, training and vendor tracking beyond dentistry.
  • Dental OSHA training from a consultant or dental supply company — suits offices that want in-person training or CE credit, but usually leaves plans and logs on paper.

ComplyDay FAQ

How much does ComplyDay cost?

As of November 2026, the Solo plan is $790 a year or $79 a month for up to 5 staff, and the Practice plan is $1,490 a year or $149 a month for up to 15 staff. Each plan covers one location and the whole team. Paying yearly saves about 16 percent, and offices with more staff or a second location email for group pricing.

Is ComplyDay HIPAA compliant?

ComplyDay helps a dental office meet HIPAA requirements with privacy policies, a yearly security risk assessment, a business associate list, breach response plan and HIPAA staff training. The app itself does not store patient information, so offices should never enter protected health information into it, and no business associate agreement is needed for normal use.

Does OSHA accept ComplyDay's online training?

OSHA accepts online bloodborne pathogens training when it covers the required content, covers the office's own procedures and gives staff a chance to ask a knowledgeable trainer questions. ComplyDay lets staff message a trainer during each course and saves a certificate when they pass. OSHA does not approve or certify any training provider.

Do ComplyDay courses give CE credits?

No. As of November 2026, ComplyDay courses cover the yearly OSHA and HIPAA staff training but do not award continuing education credits. Dentists and hygienists who need CE hours for license renewal will need a separate CE provider.

Can medical practices use ComplyDay?

ComplyDay is built for dental offices, and its plans, courses and sterilizer logs are written for dental settings. Medical and behavioral health practices should look at broader HIPAA and OSHA compliance programs such as Compliancy Group.
