Who Compliancy Group is best for
Compliancy Group, founded in 2005 by former auditors, sells The Guard, a cloud platform that gives a practice a ready-made compliance program with coaches and a customer success team to guide staff. The company says it serves more than 3,000 healthcare organizations.
Best for
- Small and mid-sized practices without a full-time compliance officer
- Healthcare vendors and business associates preparing for HIPAA or SOC 2 reviews
- Multi-location groups tracking training, policy sign-off and exclusion screening per employee
Not ideal for
- Practices that only need a one-time security risk assessment
- Buyers who want published prices before talking to sales
- Teams needing IT security tooling rather than compliance documentation
Compliancy Group pros and cons
Pros
- HIPAA, OSHA and SOC 2 programs in one platform, plus custom programs
- 100+ ready-to-use policy templates with sign-off tracking
- Training on HIPAA, OSHA and fraud, waste and abuse (FWA), tracked per employee
- Anonymous incident hotline with case management
- Exclusion list verification that the vendor says searches 55 lists
Cons
- No published prices; every plan is quoted
- The vendor does not publish its own SOC 2 report or say whether it signs a BAA with customers
- Supported HR systems for its HRIS integration are not named
- Claims such as a "100% audit pass rate" are the vendor's own and not independently verified
Compliancy Group pricing
As of October 2026, Compliancy Group's pricing page shows no figures and asks buyers to request a quote. In May 2025 it moved to modular packaging that it says lets customers buy only the features they need, with a lower entry price. Price depends on organization size and modules chosen. Some professional associations offer member discounts. Contract terms and setup fees are not published.

HIPAA, security and integrations
The Guard is a web-based platform for HIPAA and OSHA compliance and SOC 2 audit preparation. The former HIPAA Seal of Compliance is no longer offered; customers now receive Trust Badges, and the vendor notes HHS does not endorse HIPAA certifications. Compliancy Group does not publish its own SOC 2 or HITRUST status, hosting or BAA terms, so request them before buying. The only integration described syncs employee rosters from your HR system. It does not integrate with EHRs.
