Who SentinelOne is best for
SentinelOne's Singularity platform puts an agent on each laptop, desktop and server to block malware and ransomware, record activity for investigation and roll back malicious changes. For a practice, it protects the machines that run the EHR and hold PHI; it does not handle HIPAA policies, training or risk assessments. It is sold through authorized partners, so small practices usually get it from a managed service provider.

- Singularity Complete: $179.99 per endpoint per year. AI endpoint and cloud workload protection, real-time detection and response, 14 days of data retention and an AI security assistant.
- Singularity Commercial: $229.99 per endpoint per year. Everything in Complete plus identity detection and response, 90 days of retention and managed threat hunting.
- Singularity Enterprise: quote-based. Adds an agentic AI SOC analyst, deeper forensics and network data collection, and expert-led onboarding.
Managed detection and response is an add-on. Purchases go through authorized partners, whose pricing takes precedence, so an MSP may bundle it into a monthly per-device fee.

SentinelOne's healthcare page says the platform helps organizations meet HIPAA requirements through threat detection, access controls, audit logging and compliance reporting, and that it supports BAA execution when it processes PHI as a business associate. The company lists SOC 2 Type 2, ISO/IEC 27001 and FedRAMP High certifications.
The platform is cloud-managed. Named integrations include Entra ID, Okta, Ping, SecureAuth, Duo, Active Directory, AWS, Google Cloud and Singularity Marketplace apps. It does not integrate with EHRs; it protects the devices they run on.
