Who OmniMD is best for
OmniMD is a one-vendor platform for independent practices that would rather not stitch together a separate EHR, billing system and AI tools. The company was founded in 2002 and says it serves more than 12,000 providers in over 600 clinics across 20+ specialties. It also sells outsourced billing and prior authorization services.
Best for
- Solo and small-group practices that want EHR, billing and an AI scribe under one subscription
- Specialty practices that want specialty templates (cardiology, mental health, pain management and others)
- Practices that may want to hand billing to the same vendor later

OmniMD does not publish prices. Its pricing page lists three tiers, all quote-based:
- EHR Essentials: ONC-certified EHR, scheduling and charting, patient portal, secure messaging, e-prescribing, smart templates; telehealth optional.
- Growth Clinics Suite: adds the AI Medical Scribe, AI Front Desk automation, RCM-ready workflows, advanced analytics, lab and imaging integrations and inventory.
- Enterprise & Multi-Location: adds RCM and billing services, a dedicated success manager, 24/7 priority support, data migration help and multi-location reporting.
The vendor says price depends on provider count, visit volume and modules, that annual plans are discounted, that setup and migration fees are "typically included depending on the plan," and that implementation takes 2 to 6 weeks. It also says training, onboarding and live support are included, with 24/7 support on Enterprise plans.

OmniMD describes its EHR as HIPAA compliant, ONC-certified and cloud-based, with "SOC 2 controls and standard BAAs." It lists AES-256 encryption and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure hosting. It describes SOC 2 Type II and HITRUST as alignment and framework-oriented controls, not as audited certifications, so ask for any attestation reports you need.
Integration options include clearinghouse connections, HL7 lab and radiology interfaces and FHIR APIs. Named third-party EHR integrations are not published.
